Hello all, surprised to see me? Yes it’s been a while since the blog has been updated. Alright…more than a while, but we haven’t simply been sitting all this time I assure you.
Where have we been? Well since we last spoke about a year ago there has been a lot going on. We released a calendar for 2013 entitled “Wearable Art: Fruits and Vegetables”…perhaps you’ve seen it. There are still a few available if you’d like one.
Our solo photo exhibit “America: Coast to Coast” has returned to Westchester and has been making the rounds at various exhibition spaces. It’s on display for another few days over at the Rye YMCA. Visit the link for details.
And we’ve been very busy with all kinds of new photo shoots both for our retail customers and also some nice art pieces as well. You can see all the things we’ve been up to this past year on our Facebook page.
Over the past month or so we’ve been focusing on retooling our website and brand, and after weeks of hard work I’m pleased to present the all new Dengrove Studios Website!
We threw the old site away and redesigned the entire thing from scratch to make it more user-friendly and to better service our customers when booking their own photo sessions. Not to mention it looks absolutely amazing. New fonts, sizes and layouts help to reduce the visual clutter and make it look clean and modern.
Photos come first in the new website! Bigger, brighter, and more of them. We implemented a brand new photo gallery system which allows the photos to be displayed at their absolute best.
The first thing you’ll notice in any of the galleries and the home page is that the photos now take up the full browser window so you can see them better. In addition, they scale so no matter what type of device you’re viewing them on, a desktop, laptop, or mobile you’ll always be able to see the full image. Go ahead try it…maybe your browser window bigger or smaller and watch them scale…cool huh?
Speaking of new photos we’ve not only added lots of shots from the photo shoots we’ve had over the past year, but have also added additional new galleries as well to help you find the perfect idea for your own photo session.
If the beautiful photos don’t convince you, visit our pricing page to see all of new affordable packages. There’s something for everyone’s budget, and if you can’t find just the right package you’re looking for, no problem, simply contact us and we’ll find a way to customize it so it fits your needs perfectly.
Our photo packages have been expanded to include such offerings as comp cards if you’re looking for headshots or portfolios, printed holiday or announcement cards for family and maternity shoots, wall calendars when shooting boudoir for that special someone in your life, and even some offering hi-resolution photos in case you want to make your own prints and cards.
Perhaps you’ve never had a professional photo shoot before, or maybe you just have some questions about the process. It’s understandable and that’s why we’ve created our all new FAQ page! Our frequently asked questions page will help answer any questions you may have about booking a photo session with us, after-all, they come straight from customers just like yourself.
As you can see the new Dengrove Studios website is a great resource to use when planning out your photo sessions. But we didn’t stop there, that’s right…we also resigned the layout of our blog which you can see since you’re reading this article on it.
But you haven’t heard the biggest news of all…we now have a Twitter Account! That’s right Dengrove Studios is now on Twitter @DengroveStudios. Make sure to follow us for the latest news and happenings and of course exclusive discounts.
Thank you for joining me on this tour of the new Dengrove Studios website. I promise to bring you some great new blog posts in the near future, I have lots of ideas, and if you have any topics you’d like to see in a future blog post please get in touch!
